Welcome to Still Southwold – Coastal Haven.
We are located at Easton Bavents just north of the popular seaside of town of Southwold, offering easy walking access to all the facilities of the town whilst being able to retreat to our peaceful haven which offers seclusion for our guests and the nature which also lives here.
The story so far
It has been very much a labour of love, we have done much of the work ourselves, it has been a constant struggle with the ‘authorities’ and with the forces of nature – a stormy day at Easton Bavents can really make you appreciate the immense power of mother nature! We have persevered – the place does get under your skin (even on those stormy days) and we are committed to developing our business in a way that respects the natural environment.
So far we have built/converted 6 properties on our landholding. They are all different but in each one we have focussed on providing comfortable, well equipped accommodation which makes the very most of the stunning sea views and offers the perfect place to relax with loved ones, rejuvenate and enliven all your senses.
Private beach
The beach at Easton Bavents is the most beautiful, peaceful and wild place at all times of the year – be it a blustery, invigorating winters walk or watching the moon sit on the sea on a calm evening stroll in the summer.
Seaside Spa
We believe that just being in this beautiful place will restore and revive mind, body and soul, but we are also working now to offer additional relaxation and pampering through our new Seaside Spa. We are introducing a sea view sauna in 2026. Building on the success of our Dune Hut reflexology treatments last year we are also introducing a mobile treatment room which will be seaside and offer a range of treatments with the supremely relaxing natural backdrop of the waves and birdlife.

Absolutely stunning stay here for our anniversary. So much care has been taken and everything thought of to make Scylla the most perfect weekend away. Waking up to watch the sun rise over the sea was magical.
Would love to come back and would definitely recommend. Almost didn’t want to leave a recommendation as would prefer to keep it our secret! Think it would be too hard to book if everyone knew about it!
