About The Easternmost Cabin

Tucked away at the eastern edge of the Easton Bavents estate, The Easternmost Cabin offers a truly peaceful coastal escape. Designed to sit lightly within its surroundings, it provides a unique opportunity to experience the wild beauty of one of Britain’s fastest-changing coastlines.

The cabin takes its name from The Easternmost House, a memoir describing life in the cottages that once stood on this very spot before coastal erosion claimed them. Today, the cabin continues that story of resilience and adaptation, offering guests the chance to experience this extraordinary landscape while respecting its constantly changing nature.

Sleeping two guests, The Easternmost Cabin has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of its remarkable setting. Large windows frame beautiful views towards Covehithe, while the open-plan living space creates a comfortable retreat for couples seeking peace, privacy and time together.

Spend your days exploring the quiet beaches, walking along the cliffs, swimming in the sea or simply sitting outside watching the changing light across the landscape. Here, the distractions of everyday life fade into the background, replaced by birdsong, fresh sea air and the rhythm of the waves.

The Easternmost Cabin is more than somewhere to stay; it is a chance to experience the tranquillity, history and natural beauty of a coastline that has been shaped by the sea for centuries.
