Easton Bavents is a very special place where nature of all variety flourishes. We aim to nurture this as best we can and hope our guests love it as much as we do. We are very aware, given the situation of coastal erosion here, of the\n impact that man has on our planet and we work hard to do what we can to minimise any damage and increase our positive impacts.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Utilities are included during your stay but please think about the environment and turn off lights when not being used \u2013 keeping light levels to a minimum will help our resident bats and insects to flourish. The water here is safe to drink so there is no need to buy plastic bottles of drinking water.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Our newer properties are heated (and cooled) by air source heat pumps. We plan to adapt other properties to air source going forward and install more solar generation on the farm<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We believe in keeping as much of Easton Bavents as natural as possible. We leave large areas just for nature and avoid cutting hedges and verges until they begin to impede access down the track! We are also working with ecologists\n to enhance the biodiversity and plant trees\/hedges\/wild bird and insect mixes. We hope you don\u2019t find it too scruffy – we are not believers in manicured lawns and hedges as these are not what wildlife love!<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We have banished single use plastic \u2018tiny toiletries\u2019 and provide a range of sustainable toiletries for guests to use in refillable glass bottles. Toiletries are supplied by Fill Refill \u2018the original zero waste closed loop refill company\u2019.\n All products are vegan, cruelty free and biodegradable and are made using natural products, no harsh chemicals or dyes.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

We are not on mains drains but have a sewage treatment plant which breaks down waste in an environmentally sensitive way so we need to be careful what goes down the sink and the toilet. We use environmentally-friendly cleaning products\n and ask that you refrain from putting anything other than number 1\u2019s and 2\u2019s and toilet paper down the loo! Please place everything else in the bin provided.<\/p>\n
